Today I decide

start from scratch

and build an empire

of my own

The learning curve

I might be wise

But I've learnt so much...

through the ups and the downs

the successes and heartbreaks

I've learnt to ease up

To see life as a whole

To prioritise what's important

and to let go .

I've learnt to see the bigger picture

To value those who value you

To value honesty, sensibility and compassion

above all.

I've learnt to help, but draw healthy boundaries

To be soft but know where to become firm

I've learnt to lose and build again

To be lost and find again

I've learnt to be me

To value myself first

And I've learnt I can be a fool as well.
