Stardom is great

But authenticity is greater still. 

Before you come in public eye

Learn to draw your lines

To protect your privacy.

Understand that you will be 

Put through baseless speculations 

And that's okay

What's important is doing what you believe in

To the best of your ability. 

Know how to stay grounded and real

Despite the clutter and the noise

Despite the glitz and the temptation 

Don't give into ostentation. 

Keep your head

Firmly rooted on your shoulders. 

No matter what they say or do. 

Because once the spotlight falls on you

You are left with no choice but to face it.

Spirituality 

Comes to me effortlessly 

Right from childhood

When I didn't even know

How to spell that word. 

And I have met many people

Who share a similar mindset. 

The experiences we share 

are much the same. 

The energies they emit are hard to ignore. 

None of them are nuts. 

They are known for their intellect. 

In fact, all of them seem to be pretty 

Efficient with what they do.  

And are quite open minded in their approach. 

If creation is utmost intelligence, 

It's good to join the gang! 

That's where true abundance lies. 

Old world vs new

When we talk of spirituality 

Or religion

It's a blurry topic

I don't want to convince anybody of a phenomenon I myself don't understand that well. 

Because I haven't seen God

Or taken pictures or videos of It. 

And being a science student

I really cannot validate my experience. 

I can only feel a connection

To a higher power 

Like most scientists have felt. 

I can talk about patterns

That follow certain trends

I can speak about the laws

Which universe seems to follow

Almost everytime. 

And talk about the mistranslations

Which people have so beautifully done. 

I can only tell you what I know to be true and put my theories to test. 

Rest - well, 

I leave it to individual discretion.
