Time travel #New Year

It's almost the end of another glorious year...

And I almost itch to pen down something on this occasion.

First of all, the year left us with a lot. So thank you 2017.

We look forward to the coming times, in the light of your blessings.

We are not robots. We are humans. (Souls, if I can add.)

And we work in ways too complex to figure out and generalise.

I think the past few years has seen a lot of social media in our lives...

And I'm glad to say, out of the 60-70% noise that exists in it, 30-40% is pure gold.

(If you dig for it! I cannot help but feel extremely grateful for such amazing ideas.)

Well those are my statistics. Nobody can deny it has made us more connected.

But then , the onus lies on society-what we value and how we choose to conduct ourselves.

No matter what the Gods say or do (if they exist), it is the society that is the target audience.

The society must choose carefully- what is its path and how it plans to conduct itself?

Whether it likes optimism or cynicism? And what it intends to do about it?

Needless to say, the action has to match the thoughts.

So, if it chooses love, it must respect the lovers and not shun them.

If it chooses peace, it must be at peace and not go about warring.

If it choose prosperity, it must make attempts to progress instead of dwell in stagnation.

If it chooses excellence, it must be prepared to risk rather than take the safe path.

But of course, societies are made of people. And people cannot be the same.

I guess, what is more important is what the majority values and is willing to pursue,

giving the minorities too- a voice that is heard and cherished.

Well, we can figure this out, together. Can't we?
