The beauty of nihilism

I miss that joyful feeling

of weightlessness

the feeling of intense connection

and boundless compassion

I miss that emptiness

that empathy

that divine love....

It knew no bounds

I miss those vacant stares

the vacant spaces

of my mind

that would often blank out

I miss that quiet;

the place of utmost calm

the restfulness

amidst the chaos

I miss the way i could laugh

at the most serious situations

And smile

at death, lovingly.

I miss the way i never cared

whether my shoes were polished

whether i was okay

whether it felt good

because it did. it was a state of rapture

Nihilism- a state of absolute bliss

A state where nothing mattered

There was no point in anything.

But reality hits hard. It always does.

It warns me to be wary of this feeling

and to choose a goal, to find a point of it all

So i could live life, wholeheartedly.

Because nihilism ; no matter how liberating

is self denial in a way

And yes, divine is magnanimous

But,it is inclusive of our being.

Expressing oneself is expressing the divine

In all its glory

The traveller travels detached, yet

Self realisation is as important as the journey.
